@Orchard LLC has an immediate requirement for multiple talented Solutions Architects to lead the architecture and solution design for enterprise-scale document management and content services platforms supporting a major banking organization. This role will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions across enterprise document management ecosystems, integrating modern digital platforms with legacy enterprise systems. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, and enterprise architects to deliver strategic document management and content modernization initiatives.
As the Solutions Architect, you will.
- Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise document management and content services platforms.
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions supporting: Document ingestion. Content management. Workflow orchestration. Search and retrieval. Customer-facing document services.
- Develop architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps.
- Lead architecture discussions and provide technical directions to development teams.
- Define integration strategies across: Core banking systems. Customer applications. Workflow/BPM platforms. APIs and enterprise services.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Drive modernization initiatives across legacy and cloud-native platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to ensure operational scalability and resiliency.
- Support performance optimization, disaster recovery, and operational readiness planning.
- Provide governance, architecture reviews, and technical risk assessments
Your background experience and qualifications will include.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of strong experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems and applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in Solution architecture, System integration, API-driven architecture, and Event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, Cloud-native design principles & Enterprise integration patterns.
- Extensive experience designing high-volume transaction processing systems & Scalable content and document management solutions.
- Strong technical background in: Java / Springboot, REST APIs, and Integration services & Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2).
- Strong Experience working with enterprise document management / ECM platforms such as OpenText, IBM File Net, Hyland OnBase, AEM, or SharePoint.
- Solid understanding of Kafka / Event streaming platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of Hybrid cloud architectures, Infrastructure scalability, and disaster recovery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and technical governance.

- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with Document ingestion and retrieval, metadata management, search and indexing, and document management lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Security frameworks, identity/access management, & Observability and monitoring platforms
Compensation: Compensation ranges are determined by several factors, including skill set, experience, licensure and certifications, and location. The anticipated range for a base salary for this role is between $120K & $140K. There may be some flexibility for exceptionally qualified individuals.
