@Orchard LLC is looking to engage a creative, detail-oriented Graphics Consultant to work with our proposal team and select clients on an as-needed, contract basis. If you have a knack for turning dense, "wall-of-text" technical responses into visually compelling stories that win over government evaluators, we want to talk to you.

As the Proposal Graphics Consultant, you will.

Work closely with proposal writers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to enhance bid submissions. Your primary goal is to transform text-based responses to Federal RFPs and Task Orders through the creative use of better graphics, layouts, charts, and call-out boxes, with a focus on delivering high-quality visual design.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Complexity: Convert technical narratives and complex workflows into clean, professional diagrams and infographics.
• Enhance Presentation: Design custom call-out boxes, icons, and layout elements that highlight our "win themes" and discriminators.
• Formatting Excellence: Ensure all graphics comply with strict RFP requirements (font sizes, margins, and file types).
• Visual Consistency: Maintain a cohesive look and feel across the entire proposal volume.

What We’re Looking For

• Federal Proposal Experience: You understand the unique constraints of government bidding (e.g., Section L & M requirements).
• Design Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word.
• Deadline Driven: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with firm "pens down" deadlines.
• Communication: Strong ability to take a rough sketch or a paragraph of text and return a polished visual concept.

Project Details

• Location: Remote / Work from Home.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).
• Availability: On demand. Projects typically range from 5 to 40 hours over a 1–2 week period.

Guidance

·        Please be prepared to present two or three samples showing how you translated text content into dynamic proposal graphics.

·        Due to the nature of our work, applicants must be comfortable signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for specific projects.

·        This is a “1099” independent contractor opportunity. Please provide rate guidance.
