@Orchard LLC is supporting a growing product development firm in its search for an experienced Data Architect. Our client acts as a trusted advisor for some of the largest network operators in the country and consistently delivers product solutions that are adaptable and cost-effective. The Data Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business requirements, identify data gaps and inconsistencies, and design robust and scalable data solutions. This is a remote opportunity.

As the Data Architect, you will:
  • Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture by designing, building, and maintaining data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Identify data gaps and inconsistencies and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and implement data standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement data integration strategies and oversee data integration processes.
  • Develop and maintain data security and privacy policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data architecture, data models, and data dictionaries.
  • Participate in data governance and compliance initiatives.

Your background will include:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Architect or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, replication, and sharding.
  • Experience with database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy policies, including access controls, encryption, and data masking.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Must be able to work on direct W-2 status without sponsorship.
