Idea Recruitment has partnered with a National Sales and Marketing organization in their search for a Senior Benefits Analyst
STARTING SALARY: $75,000 / YEAR
We are seeking a highly capable Sr. Benefits Analyst to assist with coordinating Benefits systems and processes. In this rule, the duties include optimizing the Benefits Administration and HCM systems while combining benefits knowledge with expertise in HRIS to ensure optimal benefits administration. The incumbent will assist in the development, planning, analysis, and delivery of company's benefits program. This individual contributor role reports into the Director of Benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail and accuracy along with a commitment to high quality of work and customer service.
* Responsibilities: *
Serves as the SME for the benefits team as well as a configuration subject matter expert in the data needs, data conversion, and configuration of both the ben admin system (Benefitfocus and HCM (Oracle).
The individual must collect and configure requirements and test and validate processes as a part of the implementation.
Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to support the implementation including business requirements
Financial reporting and analysis related to the benefits program
Provide quality assurance and analysis on data files, payroll related benefits data, and absence related changes or conversions
Research and resolve benefits related data discrepancies and escalated issues
Implement processes to prevent data related issues
Collaborate with HRIS on business requirements, data needs and data conversion actions
Participate in testing as a part of the implementation and future changes where required
Configures the internal and external HR systems for employee benefits enrollment.
Ensures HRIS and 3rdparty systems contain accurate data and are configured to support plan and business requirements.
Responds to routine and non-routine requests.
- Required Skills
Intermediate Excel skills required; advance skills preferred
3 – 5 years of experience as an analyst, HRIS preferred
Proficiency in HRM software such as Benefitfocus, Oracle HCM and ADP
Experience in documenting processes as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits
Strong knowledge of database tools with the ability to work with large datasets
Experience in process improvement and operational/service excellence
Experience with a fast-paced work environment
Ability to prioritize and deliver on urgent priorities
Experience with working on multiple projects at once and participating on multiple project teams
