Description
  • Secure speakers and maintain a master speaker repository of contact information, topic expertise, program attendance, and feedback reports including key speaker and member correspondence.
  • Collaborate with WCD Staff and CEO to implement effective and engaging programs and outreach campaigns.
  • Develop relationships with WCD Chapter Leaders and members to assist in the development of a comprehensive programming approach to ensure relevant and timely governance and board topics are addressed.
  • Work with the WCD team to review/validate any event costs stay within the established budget. Coordinate with Operations and Finance on revenue and billing.
  • Stay apprised of current corporate governance and board oversight trends and hot topics.
  • Adhere to deadlines and fulfill other administrative functions as required.

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including with C-suite executives and board members.
• Proven history in planning events and managing event operations for board members and/or C-suite executives.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, ESG, and board matters is a plus.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with utilizing social media to promote events and content is desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory
• Bilingual is a plus.
• When appropriate, ability to travel to conduct site visits to venues and attend events. Some light travel may be required.
