Agrana Fruit US, Inc., the global leader in the production of fruit preparations for the dairy industry, is seeking a maintenance & reliability engineer to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement/development of all plant maintenance processes/programs/systems as directed to facilitate maintenance excellence in all US facilitates.  

Job Responsibilities:

·       Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Program

·      Develop and implement training programs for the plant maintenance teams to best facilitate maintenance excellence. 

·       Oversee & continue to develop US maintenance budgets & KPIs on a weekly/monthly basis and proactively work to improve financials through procurement optimization, continuous improvement, and best practice idea sharing across the US facilities. 

·       Manage and execute assigned projects & tasks associated with engineering, capital projects, and automation projects as prescribed by the head of engineering or as needed based on overall business needs.

·       Maintain ongoing focus on the goal of improving systems to improve productivity, ease of use, and reporting effectiveness throughout all plant processes.

Maintenance Reliability Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, or other related work including associate degrees and maintenance environment work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience & knowledge of shopfloor automation technologies. (programming plc’s/hmi, automation hardware/software).
  • Experience with SAP plant maintenance or other enterprise maintenance CMMS.  
  • Demonstrated experience & knowledge of shopfloor equipment in a liquid processing environment and the required maintenance needs (pumps, valves, vessels, heat exchangers, steam equipment, refrigeration equipment, HVAC equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical equipment, etc).
  • Demonstrated experience & knowledge of site utilities including steam boilers/systems, hot water generation, refrigeration, hvac, wastewater, and compressed air.
  • Experience with failure mode effect analysis, problem-solving, and hazard analysis.
  • Project management, contract management, contractor management, and selection and procurement of equipment.
  • Aptitude to read and develop as needed technical drawings and documents such as process and instrumentation diagrams (p&ids), electrical drawings/schematics, detailed sequential task lists, and technical documents.
  • Computer Skills:
    • High level of aptitude using MS Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio
    • AutoCAD
    • Shopfloor Automation: Rockwell Automation (Logix 5000, View SE/ME HMI)
  • Ability to travel in the US
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and fluent in the English language.
