Administer and communicate human resources plans and procedures for all plant personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures as directed by Corporate HR. 






Administer performance management program for hourly personnel.  






Manage recruitment, selection, and orientation of qualified, non-exempt personnel and temporary employees at Lysander location.  






Conduct new employee orientation programs. 






Facilitate and provide training for the hourly workforce. Maintain and ensure accuracy of all training records for facility; provide notification of delinquent training. 






Provide employee relations counseling and investigate and resolve employee relations issues, including complaints and harassment allegations. 






Manage payroll systems and processing for hourly workforce for the Lysander facility. 






Lead plant Safety Team and manage safety reporting for the facility.  






Plan and execute plant social events, volunteer, and charitable functions; serve as Advisor for Employee Event Team. 




 


Human Resources Manager Job Requirements: 




Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or applicable field. 






PHR or SPHR certification is a plus. 






Considerable knowledge of employment law, recruitment, employee relations, and training and development. 






3-5 years&rsquo; progressive experience in Human Resources, in a manufacturing environment (required). 






Strong administrative and organizational skills. 






Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. 






Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of employees. 






Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. 








Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 






Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees. 






Experience with HRIS systems and timekeeping systems (required).

Senior Product Developer Responsibilities:

Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment. Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures. Maintain and repair powered and non-powered rolling equipment. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions. 






Electrical- Troubleshoot and install equipment and machinery using electrical schematics. Knowledge of motor components and controls, installation of conduit and related fittings, and basic knowledge of PLC and related components. 






Hydraulics- Troubleshoot and repair simple hydraulic systems and related components. 






Pneumatics- Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems and related controls. 






Welding- Practical maintenance welding ability in TIG is a plus. 






Plumbing/Pipe Fitting- Ability to install or repair copper or steel pipe. 






Refrigeration- Knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment is a plus. 






Observe all GMP&rsquo;s, HAACP&rsquo;s, good housekeeping and safety rules & regulations. 




 Maintenance Technician Job Qualifications: 




High School diploma or GED equivalent. Industrial Maintenance certification is preferred. 






Industrial Maintenance job experience is required. 






Prior job experience in food production is a plus.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Lysander, NY. This hands-on role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical systems and components that keep our high-speed manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently. As part of a cross-functional maintenance team, duties may also be inclusive of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing/pipe fitting, and refrigeration. 


The pay rate for this role is  $40/ hour with shift premium included. We are seeking individuals open to working 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am).  


Key Responsibilities: 




Perform electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment. 






Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, components, and circuit boards. 






Install, replace, and modify electrical wiring, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures. 






Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. 






Conduct inspections and testing of equipment to ensure code compliance and operational safety. 






Perform preventive maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of all repairs and service. 






Support plant uptime by responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and effectively. 






Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, ensuring readiness for repair or project work. 






Adhere to all OSHA safety procedures and company-specific safety programs. 






Additional maintenance duties as assigned 




Required Qualifications: 




3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food or manufacturing environment. 






Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and reading technical diagrams. 






Knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code), OSHA standards, and lockout/tagout procedures. 






Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional maintenance team. 






Solid organizational and time-management skills. 






Strong verbal and written communication skills. 




Preferred: 




Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or technical certification. 






Experience with PLC troubleshooting and control panel wiring. 






Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). 




This position requires working onsite at our manufacturing facility in Lysander, NY.

Key Accountabilities

Plant budgeting process
Manage Purchase Order (PO) process

Key accountabilities: 


Pilot Plant Cooking: 




Cook approximately 9 samples of fruit preparations daily according to established procedures 






Adjust cook formulas to specifications detailed on the procedure  






Perform quality testing on customer sample batches: pH and Brix 






Operate, clean and maintain pilot scale equipment as part of daily tasks 






Support the New Product Development Team leaders by reporting any issues concerning materials, equipment and ability to meet objectives  






Participate in internal or cross functional projects as team members 






Maintain accurate records of run conditions; including analytical data, process data, and labeling 




Inventory: 




Maintain proper inventory levels to par quantities 






Pull raw materials needed for next day&rsquo;s schedule 




Sanitation: 




Perform scheduled sanitation tasks  






Maintain clean, sanitary and safe pilot plant environment ensuring compliance to GMP, GLP, FDA and internal quality standards 




Required Skills:

This newly created role partners closely with Category, Sales, Marketing and Operations to define and deliver the Food Service product pipeline. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with applications relevant to Food Service environments.
Key Accountabilities:
Product Development & Commercialization
&bull;    Lead end-to-end development of Food Service products (e.g., syrups, sauces, toppings, bakery inclusions, frozen dessert components, etc.) for a broad range of customer accounts.
&bull;    Manage the full innovation cycle: customer briefs, scoping, formulation, prototyping, sensory evaluations, documentation, scale up, commercialization, and post launch reviews.
&bull;    Design and execute DOEs for new processes, ensuring smooth transition from benchtop &rarr; pilot &rarr; full-scale production.
&bull;    Prioritize and coordinate experimental and analytical testing within the broader NPD team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Food Service Applications & Lab Leadership
&bull;    Build and manage the Food Service applications lab; define testing protocols and evaluate performance under real FS operating conditions (e.g., dispensers, blenders, soft serve, holding times, thermal cycling).
&bull;    Provide technical expertise on food service equipment, preparation methods, and product behavior in operational settings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
&bull;    Work closely with Sales and Marketing to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable development projects.
&bull;    Align with Procurement and suppliers on raw materials, packaging development, and ingredient qualifications.
&bull;    Support feasibility assessments, regulatory reviews, and compliance (quality, safety, labeling).
&bull;    Drive complex projects requiring new process development; design and execute DOEs to optimize processes for successful scaleup, partnering closely with Technical Service.
Project & People Leadership
&bull;    Lead multiple concurrent projects with clear prioritization, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
&bull;    Develop, coach and manage a small team (2&ndash;3) of Product Developers.
&bull;    Maintain accurate and timely status reports for senior leadership.
Required Skills:
&bull;    Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field.
&bull;    10+ years of progressive experience in food or ingredient product development, ideally with exposure to Food Service channels.

The role is accountable for analyzing & interpreting regulatory & functional requirements for ingredient data. In this position, the candidate will collaborate across functions to oversee ingredient lifecycle processes and change management. 
 
Key Accountabilities

Qualify new ingredients coordinating with Food technologists to support new product launches. Review and input ingredient data in accordance with regional & global standards. Ensure the data is accurate, reliable and relevant to market needs and is compliant to both Agrana & customer standards.
Responsible for updating & maintaining ingredient database. Escalate to & collaborate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Ingredient Portfolio & Operations teams in the event of changes to the ingredients. Lead ingredient approval meetings to facilitate priorities, status updates & ingredient lifecycle management. 
Convert raw ingredient and supplier data into accurate, compliant,  consumer-facing labels, as well as managing new ingredient approval processes for experimental and commercial products. This role ensures ingredient declarations meet regulatory requirements while remaining clear, consistent, and easy for consumers to understand.
Reporting of master data and raw material approval metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. 
Responsible for creation and revision of relevant documented information (SOPs, work instructions, etc.) to ensure organizational knowledge is available. 
Take on additional responsibility potentially identified within the scope of ingredient portfolio management. 

 
Education / Training:

1&ndash;3 years of relevant experience in R&D, Corporate Quality, Food specifications, Food Labeling or other relevant food manufacturing areas.
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Business or a related field

 
Knowledge / Professional Experience:

Attention to detail 
Familiarity with food ingredient specifications 
Able to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Strong skills for collaborating with other teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

This is a 3rd Shift Position, hours of which are 11:00pm &ndash; 7:30am, Sunday night &ndash; Friday morning. The pay rate for this position is $31.35 /hour with shift premium included.   Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: 




Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment. Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures. Maintain and repair powered and non-powered rolling equipment. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions. 






Electrical- Troubleshoot and install equipment and machinery using electrical schematics. Knowledge of motor components and controls, installation of conduit and related fittings, and basic knowledge of PLC and related components. 






Hydraulics- Troubleshoot and repair simple hydraulic systems and related components. 






Pneumatics- Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems and related controls. 






Welding- Practical maintenance welding ability in TIG is a plus. 






Plumbing/Pipe Fitting- Ability to install or repair copper or steel pipe. 






Refrigeration- Knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment is a plus. 






Observe all GMP&rsquo;s, HAACP&rsquo;s, good housekeeping and safety rules & regulations. 




 Maintenance Technician Job Qualifications: 




High School diploma or GED equivalent. Industrial Maintenance certification is preferred. 






Industrial Maintenance job experience is required. 






Prior job experience in food production is a plus.
