@Orchard LLC has been retained by well-established solutions provider within defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector to identify & recruit an energetic Repair and Alteration (R&A) Project Manager to support their federal work in Multiple locations (Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Miami, FL). Period of performance will go through an year with potential extension beyond the said period and a strong possibility for an FTE opportunity after the initial contract.

OVERVIEW:
Manages multiple repair and alteration projects on exiting USPS facilities with project values potentially ranging from $50K to $5M. Project type can include facility roofing, HVAC repairs, interior upgrades, pavement repairs, MEP upgrades and any other facility upkeep types of projects. Responsible for managing A/E design consultants, construction contractors and specialty service companies, as required to complete the projects. Project Management tasks include project development, funding requests, project set-up and administration, solicitation and procurement management, invoice management, construction management, contract modification management and project closeout and acceptance. Requires experience with scheduling, cost estimating, project controls and subcontract management. Position will require strong interpersonal skills for interaction with multiple stakeholders for each project and each facility.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent) and typically 12+ years’ related work experience is required with at least 5+ years in a lower-level managerial/leadership role at a field site. Enrollment in PM certification program is preferred, but not required.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
