Position Summary: The Fidelity Specialist serves as a fidelity monitor and Trainer/Coach for the NCFIE, working closely with various programs and organizations implementing evidence based and promising evidence supported practices including, but not limited to Wraparound, Parents as Teachers, Kinship Supports Intervention, and Motivational Interviewing. This position will also conduct research regarding best practices in child welfare intervention and support the NCFIE team in expanding innovative practices particularly addressing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the disproportionate representation of Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) in child welfare. This position will deliver a variety of national training related to system of care innovations, both in person and via virtual online platforms.
Expectations:

  1. Data Collection and Analysis: This position will collect data from organizations and programs to determine fidelity to evidence-based practice/promising practice models.
  2. Review: This position will assist in fidelity reviews and participate in the evaluation of evidence-based practice/promising practice model reviews.
  3. Reporting: This position will create written summaries of data analysis, model reviews and other research as requested by executive leadership and/or funding sources.
  4. Research: Attend workshops, review professional publications, participate in professional conferences, conduct focus groups and community conversations in order to obtain an up-to-date knowledge of best practices and develop innovative strategies to build on strengths and promote system change.
  5. NCFIE Trainer and Coach: This position will train various professionals through the use of the NCFIE training curriculum and developed presentations based on research findings.
  6. NCFIE Strategic Planning Team: This position will contribute to the NCFIE’s strategic planning team and assist in the development and monitoring of the NCFIE’s strategic plan to include, but not limited to marketing, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and return on investment (RTI) plans.
  7. Culturally Competent Services: This position will provide services and support in a flexible, responsive, culturally competent manner.
  8. Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting, and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

  4. Superior organizational skills: Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize and adjust schedule to meet the needs of students, organizations, or communities.
  5. Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required in order to attend meetings throughout the County and during out of state travel.
  6. Strong Computer Skills: Strong computer skills are required to create reports, presentations, graphs, spreadsheets, and other documentation.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
  1. BA/BS- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
  2. MA/MS – Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  3. 5+ years related experience required.
  4. 5 to 8 years related experience preferred.
  5. Certification in evidence based/promising practice models and or fidelity monitoring experience preferred.
