A highly reputable and prominent mid-sized Personal Injury Law Firm located in Bergen County, NJ seeks a Paralegal - Personal Injury with a minimum of 7 years of solid experience in New Jersey civil litigation to join their legal support teamYou must be able to work on-site in the New Jersey office. The base salary is $90K with benefits.

Primary Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible and detail oriented and will also be highly skilled in anticipating the needs of the Partner to which you will assist by managing and responding to clients in a professional and timely manner. This position calls for someone who is able to multi-task and keep cases organized.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage complex plaintiff tort litigation
  • Contacting and communicating with clients
  • Drafting correspondence, and other litigation-related documents
  • Communicating with medical offices and experts
  • Assisting with trial preparation
  • Maintaining calendars and scheduling depositions and other appointments
  • Creating and/or maintaining meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files
  • Able to review documents and present suggestions/strategies to the assigned attorney
  • Other related administrative tasks, as assigned


  • 7+ years of experience in New Jersey civil litigation; personal injury a plus  
  • Experience with 7 figure cases through the trial phase- Including medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases
  • Ability to compose letters/documents with correct grammar and spelling
  • Experience in Truck and MVA litigation and Products Liability helpful
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS office suite is desired
  • Highly organized and great analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Enthusiasm for multitasking, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking skills, with a zest for solving problems and implementing solutions
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
