Warehouse Supervisor

@Orchard LLC has been retained by a well-established solutions provider within the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector to identify & recruit multiple Warehouse Supervisors for their project in Jamaica, NY. The period of performance will initially be 8 months with potential extensions down the road.

We are looking for a Hands on Warehouse Supervisor that can manage and work along with a small team of warehouse associates. The Supervisor must be able to manage the day-to-day activities of a HIGH PACED packaging and distribution warehouse.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Warehouse Supervisory experience is a must.
• Will be able to supervisor a crew of associates in the following daily duties following the detailed work instructions that are provided:
• Receiving product from outside vendors.
• Material Inspection and Inventory.
• Picking and packing of all outgoing orders
• Cycle counting
• Pulling and creating a KIT using a Bill of Material
• Shipping of product using in house drivers, small package, and LTL/TL trucks.
