A firm dedicated to conducting independent workplace investigations seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working, and analytical Associate Attorney to conduct investigations on a part-time, project basis. You will be compensated as an independent contractor with an hourly rate of $175-$225 depending upon experience. This position may lead to full-time permanent employment and is performed remotely with travel to client sites suspended while the Covid-19 global crisis is active. New York State bar admission is required.
Primary Duties
As an Associate Attorney focused on workplace investigations you will be engaged in sensitive matters with duties that include the following:- Draft detailed investigative reports, documents, and correspondence
- Conduct investigations from intake to completion, including witness interviews
- Review, interpret, analyze and evaluate witness statements, documents and physical evidence collected during investigations;
- Review, summarize, create and organize legal documents and information;
- Receive ongoing training and mentorship
- May also perform other duties as appropriate to the skill, experience and education level of the candidate, and the needs of the firm
