Client Services - Financial Associate (Temporary) - NJ

Get your foot in the door at a global Fortune 500 financial services company located in North NJ (commutable by NYC and NJ public transportation)!  We love millennials and this is the perfect opportunity for recent college graduates who are trying to jump start their careers.  You’ll be engaged in a true entry level role as a Client Services - Financial Associate where you will be trained on a vast array of financial products and interface directly with clients and managers alike.  In this long-term, temporary consulting position (at least six months, possibly longer) you will have the unique opportunity to learn finance and grow within a sophisticated corporate environment.  And while there are no guarantees, previous Client Services - Financial Associates have been converted to permanent positions.  The hourly rate is $19 (will help with those student loans) with overtime payable.  Must have flexibility in work schedule, as the hours of operation for this team are 7am - 7pm EST Monday – Friday.   Recent college graduates with customer service internships in financial services industry will be considered.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant experience preferred but not required
  • Recent college graduates with customer service internships in financial services industry will be considered
  • 0-2 years call center or customer service internship/experience a plus
  • Financial services or brokerage industry experience a plus
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses are a plus 
  • Previous experience with computer applications such as MS Outlook or data entry software
  • Strong time management, organization and multi-tasking skills, delivering results independently and within deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills 
  • Professional phone presence
  • Proficient in basic mathematical skills 
  • Ability to sustain long-term relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
