We are seeking an experienced Field Working Foreman to join our team in Reserve, Louisiana. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in the field, supervising a small crew, and completing a variety of industrial construction and maintenance projects.

The successful candidate will be able to take a crew into the field, lead the work, and complete jobs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small crew of helpers on field projects.
• Perform small steel erection jobs.
• Install and work on metal buildings.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs in a grain elevator environment.
• Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with fabrication, fitting, installation, and repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine the best approach to complete field work.
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding job progress and needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in steel erection, metal building installation, industrial maintenance, or similar field work.
• Experience leading or supervising a small crew preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in an industrial environment.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.
• Mechanical and fabrication experience is a plus.

Location: Reserve, LA

Pay Range: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
