The Opportunity

An award-winning and highly regarded boutique law firm located in lower Manhattan is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support its growing practice. The position is onsite five days per week. The salary range is $65K–$75K, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Primary Duties

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys on regulatory investigations and complex litigation matters, particularly those involving the SEC and FINRA. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with SEC and FINRA investigations, including subpoena and document response.
  • Supporting document review, collection, organization, and production.
  • Coordinating with internal departments and third parties to gather case-related documentation.
  • Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence and case chronologies.
  • Managing litigation and investigation files, including legal holds and e-discovery databases.
  • Preparing materials for witness interviews and supporting outside counsel with litigation logistics.
  • Tracking deadlines, filings, and relevant regulatory updates.
  • Conducting legal and factual research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
  • 3–5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience with SEC or FINRA investigations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Concordance).
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Spanish language skills a plus.
  • Prior experience in financial services or securities litigation preferred.
