Customer Technical Enablement & Training Lead

Based in the Metro DC area with 50% travel to customer sites nationwide

An Active Top-Secret Clearance is required - TS/SCI preferred.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Technical Enablement & Training Lead to join their expanding Consulting Services practice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of network technology within the national security, defense, and civilian sectors.

Your Mission
As a Customer Technical Enablement & Training Lead, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge technology and our valued customers. You will design and deliver comprehensive training programs that empower both military and civilian personnel to leverage our client’s product suite effectively. Your expertise will ensure that our customers can seamlessly integrate solutions into their existing network architecture. This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise, customer engagement, and the chance to make a real impact in a mission-critical field.

Key Responsibilities 

Develop and Deliver Tailored Training: Design and implement engaging training programs that cater to the specific needs of our diverse customer base. 

  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Build strong customer relationships, becoming their go-to expert. 

  • Drive Customer Success:  Work closely with customers to understand their unique challenges and ensure their success with proposed solutions. 

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the client’s evolving product line and the latest industry trends. 

  • Travel and Make an Impact: Embrace the opportunity to travel up to 50% of the time, working on-site with customers and making a tangible difference in their operations.

Qualifications

  • Academic: ​BS in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field. 

 

  • Certification: Security+, or any equivalent DOD 8570 certification (IAT Level II or higher). 

  • Technical Experience: 10+ years of experience in instructional design. Prior technical experience in Network Engineering, including knowledge and experience with Layer-0, Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3. 

  • Training and Development: Proven experience in instructional design and delivering technical training courses. 

  • Customer Focus: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping customers succeed. 

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and travel as needed. 

  • Security Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
