Position Summary
Perform second and third level PC hardware and software installation and support services, support Moda computer users.
This is a temporary hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon. 


Pay Range
 $61,291 - $79,704 ​​​annually (depending on experience) 
**Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent advanced course work specializing in IT.
  • 5 years of experience in each of the following: Corporate desktop operating systems; PC set up and configuration, PC hardware and device drivers; installing and maintaining PC desktop and PC server application programs. Supports ancillary devices such as multifunction copiers, fax machines and audio-visual equipment.
  • 3-years of experience in each of the following: LAN fundamentals and networking protocols; direct support of PC end users.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and detail orientation skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and quickly learn new concepts, applications and systems as needed. And the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds.
  • Ability to be at work on time and occasionally in the office.
  • Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
     


Primary Functions:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs and PC hardware devices and PC server application programs.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and detail orientation skills.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PC connectivity and LAN problems.
  • Providing technical leadership and second and third level support to other Help Desk team members.
  • Work as a senior Help Desk team member responding to end user service calls.
  • Work with hardware and software vendors resolving technical problems with a variety of technology products.
  • Assume lead or team roll on technical projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
     

Working Conditions & Contact with Others
  • Contact with computer hardware and software support vendors, contact inside the company with computer users.
  • Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens. Work in excess of 40 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet business need.
