Sales Empowerment Group is hiring a Strategic Account Manager. *Remote Opportunity*
 
 The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to retain and expand our presence within our largest and most strategic accounts. The role will be engaged with stakeholders ranging from mid-level leaders to C-suite decision-makers to drive growth and value.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Owner of the full client relationship lifecycle from onboarding to day-to-day account management, developing deep, value-based partnerships.
  • Provide thought leadership at our strategic accounts by identifying and nurturing upselling, cross-selling, and growth opportunities with an ability to leverage executive relationships.
  • Act as the overall leader for all workstreams sold, ensuring delivery execution. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as practice leaders and sales to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Trusted business liaison to clients to ensure their needs are met and understood.
  • Support the sales team on opportunities such as proposals, RFPs, SOWs
  • Track key account metrics and be able to report on the success of SEG’s products that the client has purchased.
  • Concentrates on client retention and growing contract renewals for our strategic accounts.


Job Qualifications:  

  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in consultative selling, account management, or a related field.
  • Proven Results: A successful history of driving customer retention and account growth.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive long-term customer engagement and expansion.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at executive levels.
  • Deep understanding of SEG’s products and services to effectively position the offerings and articulate their value to our strategic clients.
  • Experience in the unique challenges of high growth, M&A, private equity backed clients.
  • Project Management skills and ability to lead indirectly
  • Experience in transformations with mid-market organizations
