Sales Empowerment Group is searching for an experienced Director of Operations/Practice Leader. The Practice Leader is a critical role in the growth and future of SEG. The key responsibilities lie in growing the practice, people leadership and development for those employees in the practice, supporting the sales team in generating and closing revenue opportunities for the practice, being a thought leader in the market strengthening our brand, generating opportunities for the practice, and in practice financial management.
As the Practice Leader, your key responsibilities are:
  • Overall practice financial health, including achieving revenue growth goals and Gross Margin %
  • Growth through new business development, strategic partnerships, consultative selling, and delivering innovative solutions
  • Providing thought leadership in the market that generates organizational leads and opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with the senior leaders within the revenue team to shape the go-to-market approach and helping to shape our products, packaging, and the way we message our solution broadly.
  • Managing and having accountability for practice’s delivery health and stability and alignment to enterprise goals
  • Serving as a strategic sales & talent acquisition partner and able to close the deal and pull the team together to get the job done
  • Setting practice delivery methodology and provide governance to ensure delivery is on time and meets client expectations
  • Driving collaboration between Sales Leadership and Client stakeholders to solve complex business problems as the SME
  • Managing and having accountability for thought-leading strategy on solution-specific capabilities and product offerings, focused on capability depth/breadth and evolving industry trends
  • Senior people-leader; accountable for driving culture and effective workforce planning within the community of practice
  • Effective resource management of the practice that balances meeting the client’s needs and healthy practice financials.
  • Collaborating with other SEG practice leaders to identify and win cross-selling opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • BDR/SDR Practice Responsibilities:
  • Ensure client retention goals are met
  • Ensure BDR/SDR headcount retention goals are met
  • Create and maintain SOPs for the BDR/SDR Services team and ensure they are followed by all (roster maintenance, implementation procedures, manager transition best practices, client health scoring, data maintenance, etc.)
  • Coordinate with other internal teams serving clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Work with the SEG+ software development team and guide improvements to the product
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key client executives
  • Hire, train, and develop Client Success Managers to ensure client goals are met – making sure team members are growing and improving their team management and leadership skills
  • Handle the unexpected – deal with client dissatisfaction in a way that balances SEG and client needs for successful outcomes
  • Manage key vendor relationships
 
To be successful in the role you must possess:
  • A track record of building and scaling a successful practice, including both client delivery and financial results
  • Deep experience within the professional services industry
  • Deep product, market, and competitive knowledge
  • Trusted allies to clients and respected as an expert
  • Extensive experience with execution delivery/implementation & project management. 
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor business teams; establish goals and set expectations; monitor results to meet strategic objectives. 
  • Skilled in resource management to maximize the efficiency of services & solution delivery. 
  • The ideal candidate will be located in Minnesota, but this is not a requirement

Pay Range
$120,000.00   Annually to $130,000.00   Annually
