Connexure is searching for an experienced Director of Finance for their Atlanta, GA headquarters. Reporting into the CFO the Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function of the business, including preparation of the monthly financial reporting packages submitted to the financial sponsor; as well as working closely with the CFO to build out processes to help the business scale rapidly. This role requires an ambitious candidate that is seeking to advance professionally and grow with the business; who is able to prioritize competing tasks across several functional areas of the business and delegate appropriately in order to meet deadlines.
As the Director of Finance, your responsibilities entail:- Weekly Reporting – Lead team in preparation of the below weekly reports:
- 13-Week Cash Flow Forecast;
- Operating Dashboard Reporting
- Candidate will work with CFO to redesign dashboards via new features.
- Monthly Close –
- Prepare the monthly reporting package & report distributed to the private equity sponsor.
- To include categorization of non-recurring costs to present Adjusted EBITDA and other core metrics reviewed by the management team / private equity sponsor.
- Manage our outsourced contractor function in preparation of monthly close:
- Complete closing checklist, as well as roll-forward of monthly workbooks for key account classes as part of close, to include: i) Revenue ii) Capitalized labor iii) Prepaids & key Accrual accounts; (and book related journal entries each month).
- Work with HR to review & administer bi-monthly payroll & benefits, including performing the formal payroll reconciliation as part of close, and calculating commission payments.
- Prepare the monthly reporting package & report distributed to the private equity sponsor.
- Outside of Monthly Close –
- License Renewals – Work with the CFO & CEO on annual license renewals and pricing strategy, including preparation of decks / analysis leveraged in contract negotiations.
- Monthly Billing – Work with Operational Teams to report hours to Enterprise clients as part of monthly billing process and monitor consulting project profitability.
- AR / AP Function Management – Responsible for management of the Company’s net working capital, including AR collections and assessment of collectability risk.
To be successful in the role you must possess:- Work Experience –
- 3 + Years of work experience in a public accounting firm, or in a financial reporting role.
- Experience working in a PE-owned portfolio company - with familiarity of the associated reporting requirements - or in a transaction services / financial due diligence role preferred, but not a pre-requisite.
- Accounting Qualification –
- Requirement to have a finance & accounting educational background & qualification.
- Accounting qualification must either be for US GAAP (CPA qualification), or IFRS accounting (ACA, or equivalent qualification).
- Sage Intacct knowledge preferred, but not a pre-requisite.
- Requirement to have a finance & accounting educational background & qualification.
- Microsoft Excel –
- Proficient in Microsoft excel, including foundational knowledge of modelling / formulas.
- Knowledge of Power Query / Pivot, Power BI and Powerpoint preferred, not a pre-requisite.
Must be willing to be on-site three days a week in the Atlanta location alongside the Leadership team.
