One of our best clients is hiring a Senior Recruiter for a full-time position in Lincoln, NE.  

  
The Senior Recruiter will collaborate with department managers regularly and proactively identify future hiring needs.  The incumbent will attract candidates using various sources (social media networks and employee referrals).  This position ensures hiring and retaining the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline. Compliance with job applicant files, administratively maintaining job boards, and dispositioning candidates are important roles for this position.

Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities:

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy for site.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, job boards, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Assess applicants’ skills and experience.
  • Onboard new employees managing the New Hire Orientation process.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees
  • Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates. 
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Maintain job applicant files and ensure compliance with state and federal law.
  • Maintain all recruitment records.  Keep all job application records, including job descriptions, ads, resumes, pre-employment screenings, and offer or rejection letters for at least one year from hiring date or rejection date.
  • Complete entire process of closing a job requisition.  Ensure all job board ads have been removed and all candidates have been dispositioned.
  • Conducts background checks, drug screens, and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Maintains direct contact and relationship with staffing agencies.
  • Schedules and conducts new-hire orientation and training.
  • Ensure the hourly production hiring process is followed.
  • Responsible for hosting job fairs on and off-site.
  • Participate in hiring events that will increase awareness in our community.
**Bilingual Spanish speaking is highly preferred.  

Minimum Role Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Formal Training/Education
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience
  • PHR Certification (Preferred)
  • Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range
$55,000.00   Annually to $65,000.00   Annually
