RiverGlade Capital (“RGC”), a Chicago based healthcare focused private equity firm, is seeking to hire a Business Development Analyst with 1 to 3 years of professional experience to join the team. The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the CRM, identifying new investment opportunities, conducting market research, and maintaining positive relationships with investment bankers and intermediaries, while supporting the business development team with strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities of the position include:- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging industry trends.
- Opportunity Sourcing: Proactively identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, conducting outreach and building relationships within the industry.
- CRM Management: Manage and maintain the CRM system to track interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records.
- Support the RGC investment team: Assist with planning and organizing meetings with target acquisitions, preparing materials for presentations, and coordinating follow-up activities to maximize outreach efforts.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed presentations and reports for internal stakeholders, summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, entrepreneurs, senior operating executives, and other key stakeholders to enhance sourcing efforts.
- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with team members on strategic projects, providing analytical support and insights to drive decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, and/or business development
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ability to manage and analyze CRM data effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must reside in the Chicagoland area and be willing to come into the office as needed.
- Pay Range
- $90,000.00 Annually to $95,000.00 Annually
