Convery Tax & Accounting is hiring a Tax Accountant in Palm Coast, FL.  Hybrid role-Must be local to the Palm Coast area.
 
As a Tax Accountant you will provide comprehensive guidance to individuals and small business owners, aiding them in tax planning and accounting needs. This includes payroll, bookkeeping, tax planning, and general advising. You will also handle various tax and accounting-related matters like estate returns and planning, investment advice and planning, FIRPTA and foreign-owned sales, reviews, audits, and other consulting services. We seek motivated individuals committed to continuous learning and professional growth in tax and accounting. Convery Tax & Accounting is Palm Coast's trusted tax and accounting firm. We do this with a team that is thoroughly knowledgeable, trained, and responsive. Convery handles tax planning, tax preparation, and bookkeeping/CFO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a client base, focusing on delivering exceptional value.
• Continuously educate yourself to enhance client value and personal expertise.
• Ensure timely completion of all deliverables within set parameters.
• Prepare various tax returns, notably 1040s and 1120S.
• Establish and manage client accounting systems.
• Execute payrolls or set up automated payroll systems for clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ideally a CPA with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent in the accounting field.
