Connexure is seeking an experienced Head of IT and Security to lead IT operations. The ideal candidate will have robust IT infrastructure, cloud management, and cybersecurity expertise. A security certification is preferred, and experience in healthcare software is a plus. The role optimizes team performance through KPIs and ensures efficient, high-performing IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT and security strategies aligned with Connexure's business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT and security team, fostering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Establish, monitor, and report KPIs to ensure efficient and effective IT and security operations
- Oversee the management, optimization, and scaling of Connexure's IT infrastructure, including cloud, data centers, and networks
- Ensure IT systems' performance, reliability, and scalability while optimizing cloud infrastructure costs for business growth and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce security policies to protect Connexure’s data and IT assets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, particularly in healthcare and insurance sectors.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead IT and security projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet timelines, scope, and budgetary requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT and security solutions with business processes.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in IT and security management, focusing on cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desired.
- Extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure, focusing on optimizing performance and controlling costs.
- Experience managing teams focusing on KPIs, driving operational efficiency, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Experience in the healthcare software industry or related fields is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
