Hueman Direct Hire is seeking a dynamic Medical Center Manager to oversee the efficient operation of a medical center in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills to support a team of specialists and ensure high-quality patient care while meeting financial objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to patient experience, staff management, and facility operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Patient Experience: Achieve Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals; maintain a visible presence in waiting areas; communicate delays and next steps to patients; gather patient feedback and manage Google reviews.
- Complaint Management: Address and resolve patient complaints promptly; reduce complaint ratios; identify and address recurring issues.
- Social Media Management: Increase positive social media reviews.
- Scheduling: Ensure appointment availability aligns with goals; coordinate with providers and medical directors to address scheduling issues.
- Pre-Visit Coordination: Lead daily huddles; ensure completion of pre-visit planning.
- Visit Management: Optimize patient cycle time; monitor and enhance operational processes; reduce no-show rates and cancellations; ensure compliance with referral and HIM processes.
- Urgent Care and Laboratory Oversight: Ensure operational excellence and patient satisfaction in urgent care and laboratory visits.
- Imaging and Diagnostics: Oversee patient satisfaction and operational performance in diagnostic imaging; coordinate with DI leadership for service improvements.
- Telephone Encounters: Address telephone encounters within 24 hours.
- Human Resources: Manage staffing levels; approve overtime; recognize outstanding employees; maintain a positive work environment and ensure adherence to dress codes.
- Facilities Maintenance: Oversee facility cleanliness and address equipment issues; coordinate with facilities for preventive maintenance.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to ensure patient and staff satisfaction.
- New Products and Services: Support the implementation of new products and services.
- Administrative Duties: Manage office and medical supplies; handle timesheets; perform inventory management; report system issues to IT.
- Growth Encouragement: Foster growth opportunities within the medical center.
- Emergency Preparedness: Implement emergency plans as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure staff are trained on safety policies; enforce safe work practices; conduct safety walkthroughs; maintain safety equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet usage.
- Strong customer service skills and HIPAA compliance knowledge.
- Experience with payroll systems and on-call rotations.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in healthcare settings.
- Handle physical money and negotiate contracts.
- Perform cash reconciliation, weekly bank deposits, and manage petty cash.
- Ensure accuracy in encounter reporting and claims.
- Maintain and adhere to the medical center’s budget.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to operate equipment.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force as needed.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Work inside with exposure to noise levels that may require shouting to be heard.
