Vieux Vins Group is actively recruiting for a dynamic Human Resource Manager. As the HR Manager, you will manage the practices, processes and strategies of the company. The Human Resource Manager will work a hybrid schedule - 4 days in a beautiful office space based in Brooklyn, with an additional 1 day a week work from home option.
To be successful in the role, one must manage --
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure HR initiatives support company goals.

Performance Management:
- Establish and manage performance management systems, including goal setting and reviews.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.

Compliance:
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
- Develop and enforce HR policies in accordance with legal requirements.

HR Metrics and Analytics:
- Implement HR metrics to assess program effectiveness.
- Analyze workforce trends to inform strategic decisions.

HR Technology:
- Utilize HR technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Payroll Specialties:
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
- Multi-state HR exposure highly preferred (CA, NY, and CO markets)
- Experience working with employee benefits and brokerage preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR programs.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
