@Orchard LLC has been retained by a well-established solutions provider within the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector to identify an experienced Construction Manager to support their work in Mountain AFB, ID (near Boise, ID). If you are an experienced Construction Manager with prior experience in electrical, and civil engineering construction, then our client has a challenge for you. Period of Performance is 4 Months with potential extension beyond the said period.

Responsibilities:

  • This contract primarily consists of reviewing the design-builders' submittals and observing and documenting their work progress. The construction manager (CM) shall be working in collaboration with the entire Project Delivery Team, including but not limited to the Department of Air Force, General Service Administration, and design-build contractor.
  • The CM shall understand and fully comply with the principles of Federal contracting, including contract administration in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the General Services Administration Acquisition Manual (GSAM), and the Public Buildings Services acquisition policy.
  • The CM shall follow the Construction Management Association of America's (CMAA) - Construction Management Standards of Practice.
  • The CM shall establish and maintain communication and professional relationships with GSA, DAF, and all Project Delivery Team members throughout all project stages.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Education: A bachelor's with seven (7) years of experience or an associate degree with ten (10) years of experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management from an accredited university.
  • Proven work experience in construction management, electrical, and civil engineering construction is required.
  • Experience in EV charging station installation is a plus.
  • Experience working on Federal projects is a plus.
