Title: Manager, Corporate Finance
Location: Radnor, PA
This is a collaborative position responsible for supporting various finance initiatives within Essent. The role entails providing comprehensive analytical support for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis across a range of projects and groups with a focus on supporting growth of the Essent Title franchise.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:- Support the finance team in developing timely and accurate financial forecasts, integrating key segment data into broader corporate forecasts to ensure seamless information transfer. Collaborate with key business leaders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and prepare detailed stakeholder reporting.
- Manage the key financial analysis components of the title insurance business including cost and revenue economics, metric assessment, budgeting, forecast outlook and scenario testing. Ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements for the title segment and leverage technology to enhance existing processes
- Provide robust analytical support for corporate finance and development projects, including capital strategy, reinsurance and strategic investment. Assist in evaluating opportunities to optimize capital structure and financial flexibility
- Support the assessment of strategic investment opportunities. Aid in diligence, valuation, and integration processes to ensure informed decision-making and effective execution.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree required with focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience analyzing financial statements, financial forecasting and strategic analysis.
- Experience in mortgage, financial service/insurance or accounting industry preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with working knowledge of applying VBA coding.
- Proficiency in using PowerPoint to quickly build clear and effective presentations.
- Familiarity with and practical experience in using AI technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently prepare and deliver presentations.
- Highly thorough and detail-oriented mentality with capacity to work independently or collaborate effectively in a group setting.
- Sound business acumen, with ability to assimilate, synthesize, interpret, and extrapolate complex financial information.
- Familiarity with or experience in housing or title Insurance related industry preferred.
