@Orchard LLC is a subcontractor supporting the Veterans Affairs Administration with an urgent need for an experienced Cardiac Perfusionist to be located at the VA Hospital in Ann Harbor, MI. To be deemed qualified you will need to be Board Certified. Must be available for on-call services.
Job Duties:- The selected individual will be expected to work no less than eight (8) hours when scheduled and must stay until completion of the open-heart case for the day.
- For on-call services, the selected individual is to respond within an hour of request and provide a board-certified perfusionist with a need of eight (8) hours or less.
- Perfusionists will be onsite and available during all scheduled or hours and within 30 minutes of the facility.
- The selected individual has to meet all VA employee requirements including background checks and drug testing.
- Perfusionists shall meet or exceed recognized national standards as established by http://www.abcp.org.
Your education and background will include- Must be a Board-Certified Cardiac Perfusionist (Board eligible is not accepted).
- At least five (5) years of experience and be expected to operate the cardiopulmonary bypass machine for cardio cases any day they are onsite.
