Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Network Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:- Applies advanced knowledge of professional concepts and company objectives to Takes an active role in applying advanced methods, theories and research techniques to establish ongoing direction, specification, design, development and implementation of technology vision and strategy
- Accurately scopes deliverables including dependencies, risks and issues to ensure seamless delivery, technology effectiveness and security
- Provides guidance and oversight on technical matters within a solution to ensure that the technologies are secure, interoperate and connect appropriately and also support company vision and strategy
- Collaborates with Architects and recommends adjustments to the architecture to improve the overall quality of a solution
- Listens to and evaluates customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations; Identifies opportunities for improvement; ensures others are aligned with customer expectations
- Actively coaches, mentors and teaches others; uses influence, expertise and leadership to sup Research new technologies, recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize the network environment
- Document policies and procedures to support the network environment and participate in the design and ongoing refinement of procedures and policies
- port other teams as they implement technology solutions
- Interface with users, external vendors, and customers as necessary
- Ability to lead issue calls to resolution both inside and outside of responsibility area.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Ability to lead issue calls to resolution both inside and outside of responsibility area.
- Must be highly versed in the following technologies: ( Must have expereince in at least 2 of the following)
- Palo Alto
- CheckPoint
- Cisco
- VPNs
- Coding network automation and self-healing environments
- Zero Trust Networking
