@Orchard LLC has been retained by a Software Solutions and Services firm in Houston to identify a strong Sr Full Stack Software Developer to join their Product Development team. This Senior Developer will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will will lead and collaborate on software development tasks including technical design and development of cloud-based products. As a Senior Developer, you will provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers on the team.

Technologies you will work with in this role:- C# & ASP.NET (Framework, Core); SQL; JavaScript (Knockout, React); Bootstrap; Apache Cordova (iOS, Android); Electron; AWS & Terraform; Nanonets (ML/AI); NUnit & QUnit ; GitHub; TeamCity & Octopus Deploy (CI/CD); Jira (NextGen) & Confluence
The right person for this opportunity will have a background that includes:- 5+ years of overall software development experience
- Full-stack experience with ASP.NET, C#, SQL, and JavaScript
- Solid experience with React for heavy initial focus on front-end build
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to lead and collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA testers
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to research, troubleshoot, and logically determine solutions
- Ability to author, understand, and translate business-level acceptance criteria into technical designs
- Ability to read high level QA steps, fill in the gaps, and convert them into explicit step-by-step Rainforest QA test scripts with good "yes/no" assertion questions after each step
- Be able to come up to speed on 'hallway' testing... thinking through different personas and catching inconsistencies throughout the app
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred experience:- Previous experience developing SaaS solutions or similar LOB (Line of Business) applications used to run various departments within the organization.
- Experience developing applications that collect data and author reports, as well as use fields, validation, data entry and workflow.
