What is Specialty Pharmacy? 
Specialty pharmacies handle medications not typically found in retail pharmacies.  These medications are often used to treat complex or rare conditions. Ardon Health provides services designed to enhance patient care and provide tailored assistance to all patients on their treatment journey.

What is a Day at Ardon Like?
Our patient service teams work in a collaborative office environment, supported by fellow staff who share commitment to providing exceptional care. Our service model allows patients to communicate with us from the comfort of their homes.  Our teams work together to provide outstanding service and ship medications to each patient’s doorstep. 
When we aren’t busy helping patients, we can be found enjoying team meals, celebrating events, and company milestones. We routinely integrate arcade games and foosball into our workdays and often incorporate fun team activities into company events. We also volunteer together to support patient advocacy organizations within the community.
We are recruiting a Referral Resource Specialist to join our Referral Resource Team. As a Referral Resource Team member, you will intake prescriptions, enter patient and prescription information, request new prescriptions and prescription refills, and communicate with patients and physicians’ offices.

1. Intakes new prescriptions and incoming documents
2. Creates and updates patient files
3. Accurately enters prescription data
4. Requests new prescriptions and prescription refills from physicians’ offices
5. Assists in prescription transfer outreach
6. Provides inbound phone support for patients and healthcare providers’ offices

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.  A Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License will be required prior to expiration of existing Oregon licensure or as required by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.

• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to navigate computer applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Prior work experience in a customer service setting, a medical office, call center, health insurance plan, or pharmacy
