Your Role with the Company:
As the Controller/CFO, you will report directly to the owner/CEO of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing AIA billing, weekly payroll, AP, AR and collections. You will prepare weekly dashboard reporting on key performance metrics, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will reconcile the company’s bank accounts and handle monthly closing and monitoring of the retirement plan. You’ll also oversee all license renewals and reporting, reconcile bank and credit card payments, and be responsible for all state and local tax filings. You will also handle year end coordination with the outside audit firm, and handle administration of the insurance plans. You will also oversee all HR functions, including new hire onboarding, including obtaining equipment and resources, and paperwork associated with terminations.
Background Profile:- 8+ years’ experience in construction accounting
- Background working with substantial ERP or software systems
- Experience managing 1+ employees
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
