Reporting directly to the owner, you will act as the financial leader for the company. You will handle the day-to-day accounting functions that include performing month end close, producing monthly financials, and performing WIP reporting and general ledger. You will also coordinate accounting reviews and tax returns, perform contract reviews, and select all business insurance and any reporting requirements. You will directly manage 3 team members and work to develop and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial rereporting.
Background Profile:
- 7+ years of construction accounting experience
- Background in full cycle accounting
- Experience with accounting software and excel
- Exposure to sales tax and commercial insurance
- Bachelor’s Degree
