Once trained, you’ll handle AIA billing/pay applications for multiple construction projects simultaneously, including phone follow up with General and Subcontractors on payments, collections, etc. In addition, you will review billing data for accuracy, ensure costs are allocated correctly to all jobs, and perform bank reconciliations for 3 bank accounts. Other responsibilities include reviewing payroll prepared by another staff member, reconciling expense report/credit accounts, including allocation of expenses to jobs, and reconciling accounts for month end close. Occasionally, you’ll act as a backup on other duties, including cash disbursements and approvals, entering deposits into the accounting system, updating the job collections spreadsheet, and making basic journal entries into the accounting system.
Background Profile:-
- 3+ years’ accounting exposure
- Background in construction
- Exposure to subcontractor compliance
- Experience with robust accounting software systems and MS Excel
- Will train candidates with appropriate experience
