Description

Summary: Liberty is looking for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record of leadership who will bring their skills, capabilities, and expertise to our thriving HCD/UX practice. The UX Strategist will work closely with UX Designers and product development teams to map and prioritize business objectives and user needs to develop best-in-class product offerings and solutions. The successful candidate is:

  • Experienced in developing product roadmaps and conducting UX planning activities for enterprise-level teams
  • Able to synthesize your research and experiences to apply a human-centered design approach to solve problems
  • Experienced in leading across product lines in an enterprise environment to ensure key business and product activities are aligned with the overall value proposition
  • Able to adapt processes and act consultatively with stakeholders and product teams
  • Experienced in coaching UX and development teams to effectively apply UX/UI strategy and advocating for the UX vision among leadership and multiple stakeholders
  • Able to present a strong portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking and a deep understanding of UX/UI best practices

In addition to your client-facing work, you will join our thriving HCD practice which offers a collaborative and dynamic environment, allows you to practice your craft, and challenges you to grow by taking on leadership roles on a variety of consulting engagements.
Required Experience:
  • Delivering the vision, experience and creative strategy for enterprise-level projects and products
  • Conducting user research, user interviews, design/innovation sprints, and usability tests; developing user personas and customer journeys; conducting design thinking and ideation; and analyzing and presenting results to customers and development teams
  • Analyzing and distributing user insights and product analytics to identify opportunities that drive product and experience innovation
  • Delivering site maps, process flows, workflows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications (including redlines) for web interfaces
  • Utilizing design best practices and engaging with users and product team members to iteratively develop repeatable test practices and recommend product improvements
  • Working in an Agile, fast-paced environment while collaborating with multi-functional teams and subject matter experts
  • Conducting analysis of post-launch metrics to inform the future strategy and optimize UX design
  • Expertise in accessibility standards and experience working with Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
  • Experience with visual design (i.e., UI design, typography, Figma, etc.)
  • Committed to continuous learning, team success, and mentoring others through your design expertise and technical knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical and/or Health Information Technology experience
  • Experience working with Federal agencies
  • Data Visualization
  • HTML, CSS, and responsive design
