You would report directly to the CFO with high interaction with the owner. You will be responsible for quarterly financial compilation and review, state and local tax filings, you’ll supervise a team of 3 direct reports, handle year end budgeting and planning, perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures. You’ll review AR/Aging and provide direction on collections; report uncollectible accounts, prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries and review payroll.
Background Profile:- BS Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years’ accounting experience with restaurant/hospitality business
- Background with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Exposure to state and local tax filings, payroll and budgeting
