Our client has requested @Orchard identify an experienced professional who can assist them in navigating the myriad of business and security policy requirements associated with ensuring the technology being developed can be adopted by their client base. The Consultant will be responsible for the creation of policies and procedures in support of SDR, ASIC. FPGA Design Engineering, which enables privacy, trust, and security by default, in networks everywhere.
As the Technical Operations and Policy Consultant you will;- Partner with the leadership team that is tasked to drive more integration, lower power, mixed-signal architectures, and next-generation technology to be deployed in space and ground infrastructures. The technical team is focused on digital signal processing (DSP) and digital communication blocks and enables the integration of our ASIC/FPGA products in partner platforms.
- Be responsible for the identification and creation of technical, functional, and security-related policies and operating procedures, in line with Federal and potential client requirements.
- Review and understand operating procedures and contracts issued by vendors and potential clients to ensure specific issues are understood, communicated, and integrated into company practices as needed.
- Flag particular issues of concern to management for review and action.
- Owing to the nature of the work, and ultimate client, all eligible consultants must be US-Citizens.
- US-Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical/business operations role with responsibility for the understanding and creation of complex policies and procedures within a systems development, software development, or cybersecurity environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with Federal agency requirements and policies.
- Experience working within a DevSecOps environment, and creating from within that operational structure.
- Project Management certification preferred.
