CLIENT SUMMARY: ​​LEAPROS™ Workforce Solutions has partnered with a notable  Fortune 500 company that provides value-added services to consumers with a commitment to socially responsible, sustainable growth, and environmentally-conscious products headquartered in OC. This role is a high-impact, high-visibility role, with a deep commitment to continuous improvement, optimal efficiencies, and distribution excellence.

POSITION TITLE: Supply Planning Analyst 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Supply Planning Analyst updates inventory projections daily for all U.S. based distribution centers (DCs) and is responsible for following up with DC buyer/planner teams to resolve data gaps and/or exception alerts.

Essential Areas of contribution:

  • Ensure timely and accurate refresh of supply reporting. Follow-up with DC to address any data gaps, as needed.
  • Generate and perform detailed and complex analysis to improve supply chain operations and drive actionable insights. Analysis including but not limited to inventory levels, supplier capacity and order backlog.
  • Update team/organization on commodity markets through monthly category reviews, price forecasts, and through market news.
  • Identify opportunities to improve timeliness, cost effectiveness or efficiency of planning activities..
  • Work with cross functional teams to onboard new suppliers that exceed national standards to help support growth and diversification.
  • Continuously monitor inventory levels to proactively identify supply exceptions
  • Generate and perform detailed and complex analysis to improve supply chain operations and drive actionable insights.

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience. APICS certification preferred.
  • ​​​​​​3+ years work experience
  • Proven ability to build complex analyses that drive actionable insights.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
