Position: Software QA Analyst
Locations: Plymouth, MI (various unanticipated worksites)
Responsibilities:
This position involves telecommuting. The employee will be permitted work from home at various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the United States. Execute and create test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products. Define moderate level scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing; Schedule and perform appropriate testing; submit errors and issues to development for correction, and retest once errors have been corrected following established procedures. Report test results and status as appropriate. Track defects and causal analysis to closure; Review and provides feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents; Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements; Coordinate and perform basic testing projects from initiation through delivery. Ensure that testing projects are completed on schedule; Submit test plans and test reports for review and feedback; Create and maintain test libraries, databases, and test environments; and Assist with any software changes for documentation update or correction; Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Educ./experience:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, plus one (1) year post-baccalaureate experience as Software Test Engineer or related role. Experience must include automated test case execution by creating scripts in selenium and batch programming, FUP, PATHCOM, BATCHCOM, VIEWPT and Non-Stop SQL/MX, TACL. Also requires SAFe Scaled Agile and Scrum Master Certifications. Position is a telecommuting position, allowing for remote employment from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Position requires periodic, intermittent travel to client worksites at unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
