@Orchard (formerly Talent Orchard) has been an opening to support our large Federal Systems Integration firm for a Contract CMM Operator in Louisville, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to support one of the largest defense contractors that have over $22.59 billion dollars in revenue and are a publicly-traded company. The company works in a fast-paced environment with over 84, 000 employees worldwide. The initial contract duration will be 6 months.
Responsibilities:- Interprets geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications.
- Performs 1st piece, last piece, and in-process inspection checks.
- Evaluates nonconforming material to determine final disposition.
- Provides support to Manufacturing Engineering and other business units.
- Working experience with Ansi Y14.5 GD&T
- CMM programming and operation using PC-Dmis
- Typically requires a High School diploma (or GED or equivalent) and 8 years related work experience, or an Associates Degree and 6 years related work experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years related work experience, or the overall equivalent
- CMM programming and operation using PC-Dmis or equivalent software
- Working experience with Ansi Y14.5 GD&T
- Experience reading and working with blueprints
- Work history with portable Metrology Inspection and Alignment
- Understanding of and the ability to use shop math
