Responsibilities
- Be able to read wiring diagram/schematics (AutoCAD)
- Check BOM (System BOM & Purchase BOM), manuals
- Be able to read Pin definition (in Chinese)
- Be able to analyze CAN data, read IO program logic table (Chinese & English)
- Be able to read ECN and explain to mechanics on how to apply
- Program updating
- Train mechanics on core products working principle, specifications and troubleshooting
- Make instructions (troubleshooting procedures /program updating and etc.)
- Provide technical support for mechanics or customer to fix issues (onsite or through email/phone/Wechat)
- Sort out defects records and send feedback to the design team to improve.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Help BYD to fulfill duties and make the world a better place.
Basic Qualifications
- BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Computer and comparable Engineering or equivalent field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with electrical system-level design, installation, integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, or related experience.
- Experience with electrical schematic software and familiar with wire harness routing.
- Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MS Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, and comparable Engineering or equivalent field.
- Experience in automotive or aerospace industries.
- Engineering experience working in the prototyping environment.
- Experience working with technicians, engineers, fabricators, etc.
- Demonstrated aptitude in adopting and mastering new technology and tools
- Experience with written and visual work instructions.
- Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
