Bean Hunt Harris & Co, a comprehensive CPA firm dedicated to providing personalized accounting and tax services for over 30 years, is searching for an experienced Office Administrator.  This is the ideal position for an Office Administrator that is computer savvy, enjoys working with numbers, is eager to learn new systems, and enjoys a professional and family-oriented environment. 

 

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Partner with IT to provide technical support for computer network users such as establishing new accounts, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, purchasing new equipment, and assisting with common IT issues;
  • Learn the firm’s computer systems and provides backup support as needed.  Systems include Practice CS, File Cabinet, Advance Flow;
  • Assist with bookkeeping utilizing QuickBooks:  Accounts Receivables and bank deposits;
  • Create and update Excel spreadsheets;
  • Coordinate in-house training events and schedule continuing education;
  • Maintain confidential files and plans, including personnel records, pension plan, and insurance renewals;
  • Provide administrative support to staff and management; effectively compose a variety of correspondence and establish new client records;
  • Assist and support special projects as assigned.

 

Please apply if you have the following qualities:
  • Minimum High School diploma and three (3) years of directly related experience in a professional environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office), the ability to learn new programs and work on the Cloud in a paperless environment is required.
  • Experience using Practice CS, File Cabinet, and Advance Flow a plus.
  • Ability to foresee needs and act independently to keep the organization running efficiently.
  • Must have excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal, professional appearance, phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail required.
  • A valid California Driver’s License is required.
  • Experience with QuickBooks required.
