@Orchard (formerly Talent Orchard) has an opening to support our large Federal Systems Integration firm for a Contract Material Planning Coordinator in York, PA. Initial duration of the contract is 6 months with strong potential for extension or full-time employment opportunity based on the business needs and performance. This will be a Second Shift Positon and the Shift timings will be 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Position Description:

Prep, group, and distribute all move order and pick documents to support daily picks from Warehouse Investigate, and reconcile, all receiving and location discrepancies Communicate priorities and coordinate movement of expedited product through receiving and receiving inspection processes Coordinate movement of expedited product from Warehouse due to unplanned requirements (replacement material for rejections, unplanned "fallout' of LOV items, etc.) Assist in reconciliation of Warehouse processes, transactions, and inventory values Troubleshoot, and resolve, all exception conditions that occur during receiving, storing, cycle counting, picking, and moving activities Work closely with Materials Supervisors, Planning staff, bargaining unit personnel, and Manufacturing Supervisors to ensure timely, and accurate parts delivery Gathers information and prepares reports as needed Maintain accurate records of materials movement and discrepancies Requires flexibility to assist in other functional areas of Warehouse Operations Perform administrative functions in support of organization Works on special projects, as assigned, which may involve the application of technical, or similar knowledge/skills pertinent to the function involved Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • High school or the equivalent and four (4) years related experience or an Associates and two (2) years related experience.
  • Oracle ERP systems knowledge a plus not required.
