Contract Senior Database Administrator

Remote Opportunity (Work from Home Office)

@Orchard LLC has a contract opening for Senior Database Administrator to support their federal integrators supporting installation, upgrades and tuning of Oracle 19c, 12c & 11g databases. The work will be remote working from home office and initial duration of the contract is through the end of this year.

Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Oracle Enterprise RDBMS. Basic knowledge of application development and strong working knowledge of database administration in a Unix/Linux operating system environment.
• Extensive experience with Oracle 19c, 18c and 12c release 2 Architecture and database infrastructure. Minimum 1 year of experience with Oracle 19c
• At least 3 years of experience with Weblogic Installation, Configuration and Patching support.
• Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies, RMAN, DB Restores and Cloning execution
• A minimum 4 years of experience in Unix/Linux scripting for automating, and streamlining processes for efficiency.
