Senior Video Producer

@Orchard LLC has been retained by well-established solutions provider within defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sector to identify & recruit an energetic Sr. Video Producer for their internal and external communications. This will potentially be a contract to hire opportunity after the initial 5 months period of performance. Ideal applicant will know how to creatively handle, manage, and produce multiple video projects from ideation to publication, helping tell the story of our client. Position will be Remote work from home until COVID Pandemic with 3 days per week post pandemic at their Charlotte, NC facility.

Duties include:

• Work independently onsite and collaboratively as a part of the Creative Services team to plan production of videos, audio, and design collateral for marketing purposes.
• Set-up and operate cameras, lighting, teleprompter, audio recording devices, and auxiliary equipment to gather interviews and supplemental b-roll
• Work with Lead Video Producer and other team members to plan productions of video campaigns for marketing purposes
• Interface professionally with clients at various levels and manage expectations
• Provide ideas and suggestions to build dynamic stories that enhance our clients’ brand
• Develop budgets for projects
• Operate UAS (Drone) as required for projects
• Research emerging technology, equipment, software, and practices to elevate the end product
• Collaborate with team to produce a variety of products and services, including presentations, virtual events, and certain graphics support
• Provide video and photo support for conferences and events
• Responsible for staging, lighting, and photographing executive portraits in studio

Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training (Degree in video production, digital multimedia, communications, journalism, and/or marketing a plus)
• Familiarity with HD and 4K camera systems, audio equipment, lighting, video switching equipment, as well as supplemental tools such as sliders, gimbals, stabilizers, etc.
• Familiarity with non-linear editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere. Experience with motion design or graphic design a plus.
• Must be comfortable working and collaborating in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• The pace requires independent and confident thinking, self-motivation and determination
• Must be responsive, efficient, have excellent client relation skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism
• Experience working in a team setting with the ability to receive direction, critique, and feedback with a positive attitude
• Be agile and flexible in receiving last-minute changes
• Work cross-functionally with a creative team that is bi-coastal
• Experience working in a corporate or tech-focused environment a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills
