Junior Analytics Consultant (Contract)

@Orchard LLC is the recruiting and contract staffing partner for a growing pharmaceutical company, located in Morristown, NJ. We have a need for an Analytics Consultant, at an early career stage, to provide support for the Sales and Market Access Teams at our client, while being a member of the core Analytics Team. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing, and privately funded pharmaceutical firm, with a strong existing product set and an even stronger sense for their growth strategy.

As the Analytics Consultant you will;

• Work within the Analytics and Insights function, and be responsible for Forecasts, Latest Estimates, primary and secondary research, Payer and Trade analytics, commercial business reviews.
• Act as the Analytics Team connection to the client’s sales team (Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, and Marketing teams).
• Provide support for all reporting processes (metrics, compensation trends, publishing).
• Assist with strategic and tactical plans for assigned brands through the preparation of competitive landscape analysis; the strategic plan may include identification of key customer segments, as well as developing targeting plans to optimize promotional effectiveness (segmentation, targeting, promotional response).
• Help develop research strategies to ensure a brand understanding of customer insights.
• Suggest minor strategic changes - e.g. shift of site focus, investigative targets, evidential purchasing, new applications for relevant programs.
• Keep current with respect to evolving industry practices, and bring novel approaches forward for consideration.
• Schedule regular calls and track action items from these meetings.

Your background will look something like this;

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Demonstrated experience working within an Analytics team conducting similar work (1-year minimum).
• Highly motivated results-driven individual, clear problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel skills; able to query, report with pivots, vlookups, charts
• Computer literacy in all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
