The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing marketing programs that contribute to Avalara’s demand generation and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who will assist in the creation and implementation of our successful Thought Leadership Webinar series. This candidate will be content-minded, and have the ability to learn the concepts of sales tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end support in the coordination of thought leadership campaigns, including webinars and additional mediums (video, podcasts, etc.)
  • Write, edit and proofread content for the promotion and follow-up of thought leadership events, including landing page copy, targeted emails, and other materials
  • Collaborate with audience managers, subject matter experts, and other team members to assist in creating full-scope webinar campaigns that drive interest and ultimately revenue
  • Work within the ON24 platform to create engaging attendee experiences
  • Regularly provide/update reports to track overall campaign performance using Salesforce, Tableau, Eloqua, ON24, and other platforms
  • Suggest and implement tactics to test, measure and optimize programs and tactics on an ongoing basis to meet and exceed goals
  • Collaborate with marketing operations and the content team to deliver, report on, and optimize success of campaigns where needed
  • Provide reports and visibility for each campaign to track responses, opportunity creation, and influence
  • Provide support for our Paid Syndication program to complete IOs and Legal tickets where needed
  • Support program initiatives from the broader marketing team as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a variety of roles, from executives to sales representatives.
  • Extreme attention to detail, time management, organization skills.
  • Excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to strategize and analyze program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Experience with ON24, Salesforce, and Tableau a plus.
  • Must have a positive and flexible attitude for working in a fast-paced environment and be able to build strong relationships across various departments and functions.
  • Bachelor degree required.
