The Senior Analyst, Legal Contracts is responsible for supporting the Manager of Contracts in the management of contracts to be executed by and between our client, and third parties with a focus on domestic and international site agreements.  In addition to assisting in the management of our client’s contracts, the Senior Analyst, Legal Contracts will be delegated to assist with other various legal assignments from time to time. 

As the Senior Analyst, Legal Contracts you will;

  • Function as the primary person responsible for the oversight, review, management, and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements for ongoing clinical programs, working closely with CRO's. Including, when needed and identified, escalate problematic terms in the site agreements to the Manager of Contracts and/or General Counsel. These agreements are, in most cases, templates utilized on a country by country basis and the knowledge of the countries’ respective insurance and other contractual requirements are critical.
  • Ensure that contracts are consistently executed in a timely manner.
  • Recognize and escalate to the Manager of Contracts potential delays on contracts timelines
  • Manage the internal and external work streams associated with each agreement. 
  • Draft legal correspondence related to contractual matters.
  • Manage the client’s legal files with particular emphasis on the organized filing of fully executed agreements.
  • Obtain all confidentiality agreements
  • Perform all work in a concise, accurate, and organized matter.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Your background will include;

  • BA or BS required, or the equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience negotiating agreements in the pharmaceutical industry (inclusive of the Clinical Research Industry).  A law degree will count towards 3 years of experience.
  • Experience working with global CRO's strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the management and negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs). 
  • Demonstrated independent work style with the ability to execute on deliverables in a timely fashion. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information and communicate in a simple manner.
  • The ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Confidence and skill in working with personnel at all levels in the organization.
