The successful candidate for the IT Security Engineer role will engage in a consulting/security engineer role with both internal clients and product teams to assess, develop, and architect vulnerability scanning infrastructure and security operations solutions. The IT Security Engineer will contribute expertise to the vulnerability management program, as well as provide threat and vulnerability assessments to the broader organization.

You'll be responsible for providing guidance and real world mitigation steps to identified information risks. The successful candidate will be required to assess security flaws, determine mitigation strategies, and drives fixed to resolution. A thorough understanding of security architectures and experience deploying complex enterprise solutions will be valuable experience for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer the UEM/MDM environment and infrastructure globally
• Manage system hardening practices by defining and implementing secure device configurations
• Contribute to Enterprise App Store by developing MDM/MAM software packages
• Manage certificate integration with Certificate Authorities (CA) for use with mobile devices
• Manage enterprise wireless and VPN integration for use by managed, mobile devices
• Manage certificate-based authentication on mobile devices
• Upgrade and patch MDM application software within specified timeframes
• Partner with IT and IT Service Desk to provide tier-2 and tier-3 support
• Maintain system integrity and security by resolving issues from vulnerability and compliance scans
• Support patching in accordance with patching policies/SLAs
• Work autonomously as well as in team environments, often in stressful, high impact
• Other IT Security duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5 years experience as a System Security Engineer or Desktop Engineer
• 3 years experience administering UEM/MDM solutions and deploying secure configurations at scale
• Demonstrated experience securing a variety of operating systems e.g. Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android
• Demonstrated experience implementing software packages
• Knowledge of MDM, MAM, and Enterprise Mobile App Stores
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are essential and required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing enterprise Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP)
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks and system hardening processes
• Possess current UEM/MDM specific certifications e.g. VCP-DW
• CISSP, SANS technology certifications and other security certifications is a plus
